Hospice Area Market Executive
Andrew Goodman has been the Executive Director in Green Bay since June, 2017. Prior to joining Compassus, he was a nursing home administrator in Appleton, Sturgeon Bay, and New Holstein WI. Andrew attended the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration. Andrew truly feels fortunate working in hospice, specifically with Compassus, as hospice is more than just nursing care for those with a life-limiting illness. It focuses on the goals and values of the patient and family, ensuring physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs are met.
Hospice Director of Clinical Services
Tracy Budz, RN, started with Compassus in 2015. As a registered nurse since 2007, Tracy has a background in emergency care and oncology. It was oncology that inspired her to become a hospice case manager to support and care for families and their loved ones during end of life.
Hospice Director of Clinical Services
Jessica Lee, RN, is a Case Manager responsible for ensuring that end of life needs are met, including medical, spiritual, and bereavement. Although she is one of the newest members of our team, she comes to us with eight years of nursing experience. In 2010, Jessica graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing. She was most recently with a leading corporation for plasma donation and labor and delivery.
Jessica's role does not end with the client, but rather a broader focus of bringing the whole family or support network together for common goals during those final months, weeks and days. She has a compassion for helping others, exemplified in volunteer work for her children’s schools and volunteering for the Salvation Army.
Chantal has worked as a Hospice Care Consultant since 2012. She has worked in the Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Appleton and Green Bay markets. Chantal graduated from Winona State University in 2009 with a degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Communication Studies. Chantal has a passion for helping people understand the amazing benefits of hospice and networking with the community to break misconceptions.
Lynn began her social work career in 1995. After working primarily in treatment foster care, in 2008 she earned a Masters Degree from UW Madison. During her Masters experience, she became inspired to pursue a career in hospice. She has been working as a Hospice Social Worker since June 2012. She believes in her purpose as a hospice social worker and feels blessed to have the opportunity to support people during their final journey in life.
Eileen has been a Hospice Social Worker for 12 years. She obtained both her Bachelor's snd Master's degree in Social Work at the University of WI, Green Bay, in 1997 and 2005. Her prior experience was working with families and children in non-profit agency programs. Eileen firmly believes that the needs of the family unit are as important as the needs of the individual patient. It is a privilege to be a part of each patient's journey at end of life.
Karen has a BFA from Bard College, New York. She worked as Community Education Coordinator for the University Of Michigan, Museum Of Art in Ann Arbor before moving to Iowa where she was Director of the Volunteer Action Center, as well as Director of the Compeer Program of Iowa City, and Community Liaison for Iowa City Hospice in Iowa. After moving to Green Bay and relocating her mother here from Michigan, Karen navigated the waters of elder care as a Volunteer Ombudsman for the Wisconsin Board on Aging and Long Term Care, and as a dementia champion and caregiver. We are becoming who we already are up until the moment we die, and our hospice volunteers act as both witnesses and companions at a most valuable time. It is an honor to be partner with each one.
Matt Cornelius began working at Compassus in April, 2014. He attended Oral Roberts University and was ordained in Oklahoma before moving north to serve at churches in Green Bay and on the Oneida reservation. He is currently an Elder for Pilgrim Lutheran and is active in the church and with his family.
