Compassus Yuma Awarded Hospice Program of the Year

The Compassus hospice program serving Yuma, Arizona, has been recognized as the organization’s Hospice Program of the Year. This honor means the Yuma program demonstrated Compassus’ high standards of excellence in the service of patients, families and fellow team members. The Compassus Yuma team accepted the award at the company’s annual National Leadership Meeting in Phoenix last week.

Compassus’ Excellence Awards are rooted in the principles that guide the company’s mission and services. The Program of the Year recognition is the pinnacle of achievement among Compassus hospice programs and indicates excellence in alignment with the organization’s core values of compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork and innovation.

Receiving the Program of the Year award distinguishes the Yuma program as a shining example of dedication to delivering high-quality care that meets each patient’s unique needs,” said Compassus Chief Operating Officer Laura Templeton. “These diligent team members have exceeded our rigorous standards for outstanding home-based care.”

Compassus provides home-based care services including home health, infusion therapy, palliative and hospice care. The company’s nearly 6,000 team members serve more than 100,000 patients annually across 29 states.
