HAMBURG, Pa. (July 24, 2024) โ Compassus Hospice located in Hamburg had the distinct honor of welcoming State Senator David G. Argall, representing Pennsylvania’s 29th district, for a Veteran pinning ceremony and town hall discussion. The event, held in collaboration with Schuylkill Center in Pottsville, PA., was well-attended by members of the community and warmly received by all participants.
During the ceremony, 30 residents of Schuylkill Center were honored and recognized for their military service. Each veteran received a commemorative pin as a token of gratitude for their dedication and sacrifice.
The town hall discussion provided an opportunity for attendees to engage with Senator Argall, addressing key issues and sharing insights about the future of post-acute care.
โWe are deeply grateful to Senator Argall for joining us in honoring our veterans and engaging in meaningful dialogue with our community,โ said Jenelle August-Himes, Hospice Director of Clinical Services of Compassus Hamburg. โEvents like these are essential in recognizing the contributions of our veterans and fostering a sense of community among those involved in post-acute care.โ
