NEW ORLEANS – Erica Albert and Cindy Stein, hospice care consultants for the Compassus program serving New Orleans and the surrounding areas, were honored for their outstanding performance and inducted into the 2018 Compassus Presidents’ Circle during a recent awards ceremony at the Compassus National Leadership Meeting held in the city late last month.
The Presidents’ Circle is reserved for top-performing Compassus hospice care consultants. Albert and Stein are two of 64 inductees this year, all of whom have consistently expanded access to hospice, palliative and home health care in their communities through education of referral sources and families. This is the fifth time both have received the honor.
Albert has been with Compassus for more than six years and Stein for more than 10. During this time, they have built trusted relationships throughout the medical community and earned reputations of compassion due to their accommodating personalities. Both consistently travel to meet patients and families wherever they call home to create personalized care plans and ensure individual needs are met.
“Erica and Cindy have consistently shown dedication to helping our patients and their loved ones gain access to the care they need,” said Kathleen Bruce, executive director of the Compassus – New Orleans program. “Their hard work and commitment to spreading the Compassus vision is unsurpassed and an inspiration to other colleagues. I am proud of and grateful to them for making a positive impact on the lives of the patients and families we serve.”
