NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. – Joanna Gantz and Paul Ramagano, hospice care consultants for the Compassus program serving Newtown Square and the surrounding areas, were honored for their outstanding performance and inducted into the 2018 Compassus Presidents’ Circle during a recent awards ceremony at the Compassus National Leadership Meeting in New Orleans.

The Presidents’ Circle is reserved for top-performing Compassus hospice care consultants. Gantz and Ramagano are two of 64 inductees this year, all of whom have consistently expanded access to hospice, palliative and home health care in their communities through education with referral sources such as nursing homes and physicians, and families. This is Gantz’s fourth and Ramagano’s second year winning the award.

“Paul and Joanna have consistently shown dedication to helping our patients and their loved ones gain access to the care they need,” said Karen Myers, executive director of the Compassus – Newtown Square program. “Their hard work and commitment to spreading the Compassus vision is unsurpassed and an inspiration to other colleagues. I am proud of and grateful to them for making a positive impact on the lives of the patients and families we serve.”

“We are honored by this recognition and thankful to be able to do meaningful work that helps patients facing life-limiting illnesses receive the quality end-of-life care they need,” said Gantz.

“And we look forward to continuing to serve the needs and fulfilling the expectations of those in our community,” said Ramagano.
