Compassus And The Andover Senior Center Donate Handmade Quilts To Patients

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Compassus program serving North Andover, Andover Senior Center and Academy Manor partnered together to donate quilts in memorium of all Academy Manor residents who have passed.

The Monday Quilters, who meet at The Center at Punchard in Andover each Monday morning, prepared two quilts for patients to ensure dignity and comfort throughout life’s most challenging moments. Upon passing, patient names will be hand drawn among the embroidered stars on each quilt.

Compassus believes every life is unique and deserves a meaningful and personal final journey.
