Honoring Veterans: Chris Michalski

Meet Chris Veteran

Staff Sergeant Chris Michalski is currently part of our Marshfield, Wisconsin, Infusion team, serving as the Warehouse Coordinator. Chris has been a part of the Compassus team since May of 2019, and he also faithfully served in the Air Force National Guard for 14 years as an Emergency Manager for the General Mitchel Field Milwaukee, WI, 440th Civil Engineering Squadron Wing. His other assignments included Vold Field, WI, 128th Air Control Squadron and Truax Field Madison, WI, 115th Fighter Wing Civil Engineering Squadron.

“The most valuable lesson I took away from service was don’t hesitate. Get through your training and be ready for whatever opportunities are available to you. No one has more interest in your career than you. I learned to be more confident in myself and the skills I have. In addition, the Air Force core values of integrity first, service before self and excellence in all we do remind me of the person I am at my core. I use my training from the Air Force day-to-day by using my attention to detail and follow-through to complete the `mission.’

“One thing I would like to say to inspire others is to be and live in the moment. Tell your family and friends that you care about them and love them. Don’t be afraid to say it. And have a positive impact on someone every day.”

“I enjoy working for Compassus because what we do as an infusion pharmacy allows our patients to receive their therapy and heal in their home and be with family and friends, which is especially important during the holidays.  I appreciate that Compassus recognizes veteran employees and patients in the newsletter and other ways, which allows others to know you as a veteran has served our country with honor.”

Chris, thank you for your service to our country. We recognize you for your dedication to our nation and your commitment to our Compassus team. We salute you.
