Elizabeth Russell

Elizabeth Russell is the senior vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer at Compassus, where she oversees the company’s compliance and ethics strategy, programs and initiatives. In her leadership role, she is responsible for fostering a culture of integrity, accountability and ethical behavior across all levels of the company. 
 
Before joining Compassus in 2026, Russell led the enterprise-wide compliance program at Sevita and served as vice president of ethics and compliance at Fresenius Medical Care North America.  
 
Russell earned a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She holds leadership certifications from Harvard University Extension School and serves on Onspring’s Consumer Advisory Board.
