What personal values drive you in your role, and how does your work align with those values?
My empathy, compassion and commitment to improving our patients’ lives are what truly drive me in my role. I strive to ensure that every patient receives the personalized attention they deserve and feels supported throughout their care journey.
How has working here helped you grow or develop, personally or professionally?
My experience has broadened my understanding of patient care beyond the clinical setting. It has helped me strengthen my communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as deepen my empathy for each patient’s unique circumstances.
How do you see your work impacting the larger goals of the organization or community?
Although much of my work happens behind the scenes, I know it plays a vital role in ensuring that patients receive timely, high-quality care. Helping coordinate appropriate services supports better health outcomes and helps reduce hospital readmissions, ultimately improving the overall care experience.
What’s one thing about our organization or mission that resonates deeply with you?
Providing high-quality, patient-centered care truly resonates with me. Every patient has their own story and circumstances, and it’s so important that we approach each situation with understanding and compassion.
What aspect of your role do you feel is often overlooked but is important to your “why”?
Behind-the-scenes coordination and communication are essential to a smooth patient experience. The attention to detail involved in managing paperwork, scheduling and collaborating with other healthcare professionals often goes unnoticed, but it’s critical to making sure our patients receive seamless, compassionate care.
How does being part of this team contribute to your sense of purpose or direction?
Being part of such a dedicated team gives me a strong sense of purpose. Working alongside people who share the same commitment to compassionate care reinforces why I do what I do. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see the impact our teamwork has on the lives of our patients and their families.
