Rocky Mountain Hospice โ€“ Butte Joins Compassus Family

BUTTE, Mont. โ€“ The Rocky Mountain Hospice program serving Butte and the surrounding communities announced today that it will take on the Compassus name effective immediately. The name change is part of a rebranding initiative following Compassusโ€™ purchase of substantially all Genesis home health and hospice programs, including 10 community-based hospice programs and seven home care programs, earlier this year.

This acquisition brought together two highly respected providers of compassionate post-acute care, creating one of the nationโ€™s largest private independent providers of home health, palliative and hospice services.

โ€œWe are excited to officially be a part of the Compassus family,โ€ said Brian Kraft, Executive Director of Compassus โ€“ Butte. โ€œWe look forward to continuing to provide the highest standard of care to our patients and their families under the Compassus name.โ€

Compassusโ€™ mission is to provide hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families with compassion, integrity and excellence. The companyโ€™s goal is provide the greatest possible comfort and care for those who experience one of lifeโ€™s most intimate and challenging moments.

Last year, Compassus acquired both Hospice Advantage and Life Choice Hospice, expanding the companyโ€™s services to 150 locations in 28 states. With the Genesis acquisition, Compassus entered markets in two new states, including Idaho and Montana.
