Mike Asselta

Michael J. Asselta is chief executive officer at Compassus. As CEO, Asselta is responsible for providing strategic oversight and steering one of the nation’s leading providers of home-based care services including home health, infusion therapy, palliative and hospice care.
Asselta is passionate about the mission of health care and driven to develop and execute strategies that improve patient lives. Before joining Compassus, Asselta spent nearly eight years at Fresenius Medical Care North America, a premier provider of renal care, where he most recently served as chief operating officer, U.S. care and delivery and president, kidney care. His experience includes leadership and C-suite roles with leading public and private health care companies, focusing on expanding access to care services.
Asselta earned an undergraduate degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University and an MBA from Baker University, and holds certifications in leadership and information assurance from Harvard Business School and Stanford University.
