Compassus – Casa Grande Recognizes Local Nursing Assistant

Miguel Louis receives recognition for delivery of superior hospice care during National Nursing Assistants Week

The Compassus program serving Casa Grande and the surrounding areas is proud to recognize Miguel Louis during National Nursing Assistants Week June 15-22 for providing the highest level of quality hospice care for patients and their families.


“We are proud to recognize Miguel for his tireless efforts over the past 12 years to provide our patients and their families with superior care that goes beyond fulfilling their medical and emotional needs, delivering a more meaningful end-of-life experience for our patients,” said Julie Hoffman, executive director for Compassus – Casa Grande. “Miguel’s positive and reassuring attitude, exceptional ability to understand and comfort patients and willingness to support colleagues makes him an integral part of the care we provide. We are extremely fortunate to have him on the Compassus team.”


Nursing assistants provide as much as 90 percent of the direct long-term care delivered in the U.S., interacting daily with an array of personalities, cultures, abilities and disabilities in nursing homes, home care, hospice, assisted living and other long term care settings.


Compassus – Casa Grande will recognize other local nursing assistants during National Nursing Assistants Week by presenting them with framed certificates of appreciation for their dedication to the patients and families they serve.
