LEBANON, Mo. – Compassus, a nationwide network of community-based hospice, palliative and home health programs, today announced the addition of Julie Cones, RN, NHA, as director of clinical services for the hospice program serving Lebanon and the surrounding communities.
In this role, Cones will oversee the interdisciplinary team of health care providers, including nurses, hospice aides, chaplains and social workers, to ensure patients receive the highest quality care. This includes developing care plans that meet their individual needs, and providing them and their families with the comfort and support needed to have a meaningful end-of-life experience.

Prior to joining Compassus, Cones served as a licensed nursing home administrator at James River Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and director of nursing at Hartville Care Center. She earned her undergraduate degree from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, and nursing degree from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Cones is also a certified nursing assistant instructor and examiner.
