MACON, Ga. – Jacquita White Blount, executive director of the Compassus program serving Macon, Georgia, recently achieved designation as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator (CHPCA®). The certification is administered by the Hospice and Palliative Care Credentialing Center, an organization that provides specialty certification to health care professionals including advanced practice registered nurses, registered nurses and hospice and palliative care administrators.
White Blount has more than 20 years of experience in hospice serving in executive director and senior management positions. As executive director for Compassus – Macon, she oversees day-to-day operations of the hospice program and leads teams of affiliated physicians, medical professionals, social workers, volunteers and other specialists to deliver the highest quality care.
