The Compassus program serving Scarborough, Maine, gathered 20 Thanksgiving meals and five care packages for individuals and families in need. This marks the seventh year the program has partnered with local assisted living facilities, including Avita of Wells, Avita of Stroudwater, Stroudwater Lodge, Biddeford 50 Plus Club and Sister Theresa of St. Andres, to spread holiday cheer for those in need.

“I am proud to work alongside compassionate colleagues, volunteers and healthcare partners to give back to those in our community who need it most this holiday season,” said Julia Boucher, volunteer coordinator for Compassus – Scarborough. “Our team is so grateful for the thoughtful contributions that have helped the elderly, immigrant and refugee families, women rescued from human trafficking, single parents working towards their high school diplomas, and those who have recently lost employment.”
