ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Elizabeth Ross, RN, executive director of the Compassus programs serving Albuquerque and Santa Fe, has been appointed co-chair of the New Mexico Association for Home & Hospice Care (NMAHHC) hospice committee.
NMAHHC represents 150 home care and hospice agency members who provide care to New Mexico residents. Through its advocacy and education efforts, the organization aims to provide every resident with information on the availability of affordable, high quality home and hospice care services.
Ross will lead the organization’s hospice committee alongside co-chair David Rodriguez. The committee holds quarterly meetings to discuss best practices for home care and hospice, as well as advocacy efforts for adequate reimbursement, appropriate regulation and code of ethics.
“I am honored to have this opportunity to co-chair the NMAHHC hospice committee,” said Ross. “I am inspired by the organization’s vision and look forward to having a hand in strengthening the home and hospice care industry in New Mexico.”
