DUNCAN, S.C. – The Compassus program serving Upstate South Carolina, in partnership with Mary Black Health System, will host “Beyond Today: When Life Happens,” a monthly grief support group designed for anyone who has experienced loss of any kind. The first meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Tuesday, May 17.
“We will all experience some type of loss in our lifetimes. Sometimes these losses are so devastating that we do not know how we can move beyond today,” said Toni Sanders, bereavement and volunteer coordinator of Compassus – Duncan. “Our goal is to provide those who are grieving with the comfort and support they need to heal.”
