MUNCIE, Ind. – The Compassus program serving Muncie and the surrounding areas recognizes residents and patients in assisted living settings, the dedicated staff who care for them, and the families and friends who support their loved ones during National Assisted Living Week September 11-17.
“We are proud to recognize the more than 10 facilities that collaborate with Compassus to assure all assisted living residents who qualify have access to the highest quality hospice care in the communities where they live,” said Monica Brown, executive director of Compassus – Muncie.
Compassus – Muncie will recognize local assisted living facilities this week by presenting staff with framed certificates of appreciation for their dedication to the patients and families they serve.
Established by the National Center for Assisted Living in 1995, National Assisted Living Week is celebrated in an effort to promote the relationships among residents, their families, staff and the community at large – including the vital collaboration of assisted living facilities and hospice providers.
