Palliative Care
Palliative care helps people with serious illness feel better; physically, emotionally and spiritually. It improves quality of life at any stage of illness and includes support for family members.
Care can begin as soon as someone is diagnosed with an illness. It does not signal that someone is giving up hope for recovery or a cure. Patients may continue curative treatments, and move in and out of care as needed.
Each day, hospice volunteers touch the lives of our patients and their families. Whether reading to a patient, preparing a meal for a family or cleaning up around the house, each gesture makes a meaningful impact on those we serve.
