Lori Thompson, RN is the Executive Director for Manasquan and Willingboro programs. Lori graduated nursing school in 1995. After spending over 12 years in Trauma ICU, she felt it was time to make a career change to hospice. Lori has been with Hospice Compassus for a total of 6 years, her clinical knowledge is an asset to her patients and the team she leads. Her integrity as a clinician is in line with Hospice Compassus vision statement to provide care for patients at the end of their life with compassion integrity and excellence.
Brenda is a graduate of Ocean County College nursing program and currently pursuing her BSN and MSN at Kean University. A passionate nurse, nurse educator, patient advocate and active member of the New Jersey State Nurses Association and National Hispanic Nurses Association. Brenda is also an ardent advocate of her nursing peers and the nursing profession. She founded and manages an online nurse networking community that supports over 550 registered nurses in the Atlantic, Monmouth and Ocean county area of New Jersey. Recognized as a nursing leader within the AtlantiCare Healthcare system, she has extensive nursing clinical experience ranging from pediatrics, geriatrics, trauma and progressive critical cardiac care encompassing short-term acute care, long-term acute care, and assisted living. She was the recipient of Atlanticare’s Nursing Excellence Award in 2009.
Erin Bonomo RN CHPN has been a hospice nurse for over five years and has been On-Call for the past two years. After graduating Bayonne Medical Center School of Nursing as Class Valedictorian in 2009, she chose the field of hospice after caring for the geriatric population in a sub-acute nursing facility. Her position as an On-Call nurse affords her opportunity to care for patients after business hours and on weekends, ensuring that an RN is available 24/7 for any patient needs. Erin has been a Certified Hospice and Palliative RN for the past two years and is dedicated to providing outstanding care to her patients and their families. “If you love what you do, you never will never have to work a day in your life” Erin was named On-Call Nurse of the Year 2015 by the New Jersey Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
Elise Lawrence started her healthcare career at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital 30 years ago in the Admissions & Registration department, later moving into Marketing as a Physician Liaison. For the past 9 years she has worked as a hospice care consultant, providing education to patients, families and the community on end of life care.
Antoniette Richburg graduated in 2007 with a Master’s in Social Worker. After trying many different arenas of Social Work Antoniette felt most at home working with those who were dealing with end of life issues. She has worked in hospice close to 9 years and still feels a need to put patients and families above all else. Her passion continues to thrive in helping those experience peace and feel whole at the end of their life’s journey.
Listening to a hospice patient's story or reading a passage of their favorite book can enrich the life of a hospice patient. Whether you volunteer behind the scenes at a local office or one-on-with families, you'll be joining fellow volunteers who are helping others navigate life's closing chapters.

Dr. Adamczyk is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Internship at Union Hospital being honored as “Intern of the Year.” Dr. Adamczyk then went on to complete her residency at Newark Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, NJ. She is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Adamczyk has been practicing since 2008, her primary office is in Oakhurst, NJ. She has affiliations with Jersey Shore Medical Center, Monmouth Medical Center and HealthSouth Rehab Hospital of Tinton Falls. Her primary interests include Geriatrics along with Palliative Care/ Hospice Medicine and end-of-life issues. She has been serving as Associate Medical Director for Compassus since October of 2015
